Antique or not? EP ON BRASS Bottle coaster

Hey everyone, what are your thoughts on this little bottle coaster ( I think). It belonged to mother in law so it is at least 50 years old. It is round, 11cm diameter. Ebay searches etc have identified it as Antique wine bottle coaster.

I cannot load the close up of base. Letters are EP ON BRASS.

A bottle coaster is what it is, electro plate on brass. Anything under 100 years old is more or less classed as Vintage. Still useful :wink:
