Antique Silver hallmark identification HELP

My Dad obtaind this antique silver pendant in jerusalem and gave IT to me AS a gift. ( not the chain, that I bought in Mexico )

Can someone tell me what this is and ITS history? Have annyone seen it before ? What is the RP mark ?

On the back it says RP then .925 and then smaller carved rp

Let me know if better photo is needed

I don’t know what the RP means, originally I’d thought it was a monogram, but the fact that it’s down below with the silver content mark makes me wonder. Of course, the .925 means it’s sterling silver (92.5% silver).
