Any one recognize these symbols?

Does anyone know where or when these marks are from? The are on a serving tray I received from my grandmother a few years ago.

I think this is Dunkirk Silversmiths of Meriden, CT. If it says “sterling” it’s silver. Otherwise it’s electroplate.
