Edinburgh. But date…

18101810

And the maker is… Edinburgh Makers Marks - A  :face_with_monocle:

Any ideas on a possible maker, second letter quite rubbed. Thanks

Rosie, whole item photo, please.

Andrew Wilkie?

Basting spoon 105 gms

1810 - 100%.

Maker still unknown… Alexander Henderson (1795 - 1812)?

Did you buy it on Bullionaire Jewellery Sustainable & Timeless Treasures ?

Good shout, the rubbing makes it difficult to be sure. Yes I did I have bought a few spoons from them. do you know them?

The photo above is from their auction site and shows your spoon. However, there’s no information there. I only found photographs…

I think a definitive answer may not be forthcoming. At least you helped me put a name to the Harry Hayes piece. Thanks again for your help
