I am looking for tips and ideas on how to remove black stains on some of my silver.

Do the black spots remain after you polish? I have pieces with that problem and I am interested in how to remove.

There’s another topic here on that very thing that goes into several details on how to remove them. Particularly if it’s on solid silver (not plated).
