Hello everybody,

I have this very nice engraved silver plated teaset stamped on the unsderside - Britanoid, a three star clover leaf design, EP and a shield containing the letters BB/SLd.

I would really appreciate it if someone could suggest a reasonable value to put it on ebay at.

I have the same set and am trying to determine its age. Were there any responses to the initial post regarding these 3 pieces? Mine belonged to my grandmother; I’d like to know if it is likely to have been passed on to her by her mother.

BB over SLd is Barker Brothers Silver Ltd and Britanoid was one of their trade marks. I cannot tell you when this trade mark was in use but you can read a little of the history of the company here.
