c.1869 Gorham Sterling Silver Cup

This pretty sterling cup or mug is 3 1/2 inches tall ,Gorham Hall Marks , sterling and “B” year mark, c.1869. Monogram looks like S I X ? Is this a childs cup? and what is the value?thanks for the help

Hi there and thanks for joining us. It appears to be a child’s cup, but is not nearly that old. The Gorham date letters - 1868 to 1884 - all had periods after the letter, such as B. The “B” on your cup is part of the pattern or model number, so the pattern would be 631-B, probably denoting the engraving vs. a plain cup of the same design.

I’d estimate the value in the range of $100.
