I’m looking for information about this watch? Date and place made?
I can’t tell you anything about the watch mechanism but the case was assayed in London during the assay year 1887/88 and has the mark of Isaac Jabez Theo Newsome, a watch manufacturer from Coventry. Coventry was a large centre of the watch making industry.
