Hi, Can anyone help with these markings on a silver candlestick. I can’t see a hallmark so I guess it may be silver plated but none of these marks are familiar to me - apart from the ?TW maker mark. Quite a curiosity! Thanks in advance
TW is Thomas Wilkinson, a Birmingham electroplater and silversmith. This is one of his electroplate marks so your candlestick is, as you suspected, plated.
