Can anyone help with the hallmark on this?

Hi,

New here. Just wondering if anyone can help me with the hallmark on this spoon. I’ve looked high and low, but can’t seem to get anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

This is an electroplate mark of the Sheffield company John Nowill & Sons.

Great, thanks for your reply. Is there any way of telling the year of manufacture, or is that not put on electroplated stuff?

Electroplate typically has no indication of manufacturing date. The letter A in the mark is an indication of plating quality, one down from A1.
