Can this spoon still be dated?

Is it common to have no maker or town/assay mark? Though obvious signs of wear, i do not believe they would have been polished out. Anyway, i have not come across this before and was wondering if there is a way to still date it? It did come with an identical spoon (size, weight & monogram) that is early 19thC American which clearly this one is not (American, that is).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is another one of those annoying pseudo-hallmarks. The punch shapes are all wrong for English hallmarks and the head, G and lion look wrong also. It’s most likely American or Chinese.

Ahhh - then it could be American after all and would coincide with the other spoon. Thank-you for the prompt assistance once again!
