Can you help identify

Hello! My daughter was gifted this beautiful teapot. It was found at an antique shop and it’s stamped 5230 m on the bottom and on the underside of the lid. It also has a H on the front. Any ideas what the stamping of this teapot indicates?

The marks are not useful in identification. 5230m is probably an inventory mark, scratched there possibly by a retailer when it was resold, maybe even by the antique dealer where it was found. The engraved H on the front is most likely an owner’s initial and would have matched the pieces in the rest of the set (creamer and sugar bowl at least). So it is unidentifiable as to manufacturer, location and material.
