They are very faded but any chance anyone can help.
Not Chinese at all. If you rotate the mark 90 degrees clockwise you may just be able to make out the name of the maker: “Gil” over “bert” in script lettering for John Gilbert & Co of Birmingham. Your piece is electroplated rather than solid silver.
