I found this little silver plated christening mug, hallmark looks like a sun, followed by letters JM&B. Would love to know more about it

The JM&B stands for Joseph Mappin & Brothers. In 1902, they were merged into the better known Mappin & Webb, founded by John, another member of the family.
ETA: The first punch, on the left, is referred to as a “sunburst” - JM&B used it for many years. And none of it is a “hallmark” - only sterling is hallmarked. For electroplate, there’s no “hall,” i.e., no governing body established to ensure purity.
