Hello,
I recently was gifted this necklace, it has some black spots and I was wondering what the best method is to remove these?
I’m a novice so no idea how to look after or clean silver properly so thought I should seek proper advice before trying anything myself.
Personally I’d invest in a Silver cleaning cloth which work well, looks to be embellished with a Lapis Lazuli cabochon !! 
Thank you I will invest in one, I thought that but my sister said it looks sodalite. It has some sparkle but I can’t see any gold flecks, it is quite small so difficult to be sure.
The black spots probably need a good cream polish and several goes at it. I’d try to keep the polish off the stone part
