Are these real silver or silver plate? Could someone stimate the value of this set? Coffee & tea pot, sugar & milk pot.

Belonged to my granny who lived in the UK in 1920,21,22,23 …

Definitely silver plate, EPNS denotes Electro Plated Nickel Silver, the LR is the maker which is probably Lewis Rose and A1 denotes that company’s best quality plate. As for value, these sets unfortunately don’t seem to be greatly sought after and therefore don’t have a great value.

Look at “sold” listings on eBay for “silver plate tea sets,” and you’ll get some idea of the value. Ignore the “buy it now” prices, which are sometimes comically ambitious. :wink:
