Confirmation required for the 2nd symbol

Evening all, can someone confirm whether the symbol (2nd from left) is a ‘Britannia’ marking and whether this extends the content from 92.5 to 95.8?
Appreciate any feedback.

In Poland we call it rozchodniaczek, and then in the morning you come back home on all fours…

I’ve seen both those, can’t find one with the original holder though, seems to be a rarity. Look at these beauties :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: .

This set in particular, is unbelievable and the condition is superb in my very humble opinion.
The lads and myself are planning to use them one day just to say we did :tumbler_glass:

Yebo - confirmed that as well, we’re on the same page. I’m thinking a really good shot of something good should go in there - decent whiskey or brandy

Try to make each new item a new thread/topic. We’ll reach those interested in silver in a broader way.

It’s a bit tough being in Cape Town to post off even if someone is interested but I will post those pieces of more interest, there is a lot to go through. Plenty flatware but it’s pieces like the above that I prefer, that napkin holder is awseome

Relax, we have time, no one is rushing us. What matters is the message and good intentions, not pomposity and flaming… :slightly_smiling_face:

Bart’s right, it’s a C for 1877, not an R, and so the mark 2nd from left you were asking about is the duty mark, not a Britannia mark. It’s sterling. And I wish it was mine. I’ve got a Macallan that would be right at home in there. Enjoy!
