I have this Cut crystal Cruet I would like to get the markings Identified.
I have spent hours looking at markings but haven’t come across any that match these other than the lion, but they don’t match exactly. Any help will be appreciated.

ETA: The maker’s mark is proving more elusive, however. No luck so far…
I believe the maker’s mark is for J&J Maxfield Ltd. The topmost part of the mark has been rubbed away by more than a century of overly-enthusiastic polishing.
