Hi, I have a small mustard/salt spoon and I’m having difficulty reading all the marks. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Gothic-style lettering often poses difficulty in interpretation. I am fairly sure that the manufacturer’s initials here are J H & W. The group of 3 letters is probably MPP or PMP. “MP” by itself normally means MagnetoPlate, an alternative name for electroplate.
There is no doubt in my mind that what we are dealing with here is an electroplater’s mark and almost certainly British (the “B” by itself may well indicate a Birmingham manufacturer). However this mark does not appear in the usual reference site for electroplate so I cannot put a name to it. On the assumption that it actually is British the crown shows that the spoon dates from before the mid-1890s when the use of a crown on electroplate was outlawed.
