Wondering if anyone can assist …

I have an item which has the same Hallmark as Deakin & Francis Ltd and matched the hallmarks on silvermakersmarks.co.uk.
However I came across this site deakinandfrancis.co.uk/about.html can anyone tell me if Deakin & Francis are the same as Deakin & Francis Ltd?

Any help is much appreciated :confused:

Yes, it is the same company.

Thanks for your reply, Can you then tell me if the correct name for the company is therefore Deakin & Francis Ltd or just Deakin & Francis?

Not sure if it was changed to just Deakin & Francis at a later date.

They are listed as Deakin & Francis Ltd in telephone directories from 1906 to the present day. In 1905 they were just Deakin & Francis.
