I had asked about the Kuwaiti hallmarks because of this item that I bought as silver plated. It is silver, I tested it with acid, but it really does have a strong smell of copper oxidation, so I believe it is silver below 900 or maybe even below 800. I start my suspicion with Kuwait because it has the Kuwaiti coat of arms. Judging by the coat of arms, it was probably a diplomatic gift.
