I bought this teapot at a charity shop.I think it is probably plated but I would like to know more about it and a rough idea of value
Yes, that’s an Elkington electroplate mark. You can date this accurately using Elkington’s own date-coding system. There is a key to it here.
Giving a value to electroplate is very difficult as everything depends very heavily on condition. The teapot looks quite attractive, which is a good start. You may find something sufficiently close in the completed auctions section of the Ebay auction site.
