Hello, today I was organizing some metal and cloisonné boxes that I paid less than $15 and to my complete surprise I noticed the inscription 935 on the golden inside of one, I thought, I’ve never seen 935 silver, but let’s test it and yes it was silver.
I researched F.B.E., but found nothing but other beautiful boxes being sold. Does anyone know the full name of the company, how long did they operate the company, please?
I found that the Swiss standard is 800, 925 and 999 silver, so 935 is outside the norm.
