Who made Falstaff silver plate? I have tried to get some kind of history on this subject but have not been able to find anything at all. There is so much of it about on the auction sites etc and I even have a couple of items myself.
If anyone has any information please put an old man out of his misery and let me know.

I can’t be 100% sure that it’s the same company but there is an entry in a 1975 Birmingham telephone directory which reads:
FALSTAFF PLATE (ARNOLD E WILLIAMS & SONS LTD) Falstaff Ho,Lichfield Rd, 6

It looks like Arnold E. Williams And Sons Limited registered the logo FALSTAFF on the 27th Oct 1949 from the Address Arnewill Works, 84 Vyse St. Birmingham 18, England. They then registered the Logo in the USA on the 25th June 1963 using the same address.

The pieces that I have look to be from around the 1950-60s so that ties in.
