Fish Serving Set

Looks to be late 19th century.
Can anyone identify the markings?

**

X - 1865.

Thank you. Here is what I gathered on the markings:

1st Gothic date letter (“n”) |Likely 1868 (London or Sheffield)|

2nd Lion Passant Sterling silver. (no Silver plated?)

3rd “M H & Co” or separated “M” / “Co” Maker’s mark (Martin Hall & Co.)|

4th Assay Office Mark (e.g., Crown or Leopard Head)|Sheffield (Crown) or London (Leopard Head)

5th Duty Mark (Queen Victoria head)|Tax paid before 1890|

You mentioned 1865 so perhaps my analysis is off above.

Thanks so much.

n? Lion passant? Assay Office Mark? Duty Mark? Where?

Thank you that is very helpful.
So basically MH&Co /// X. // EP?

So I take it that the last portion is EP so Electroplated?

Thank you this is very helpful. Cheers.
