Hello, found this a Silver cross with pig head, it has a Birmingham hallmark , H.N & Co. possible letter “V” 1898/99, is this peice rare or valuable? any info is appreciated , thanks!

Did you ever find out about H.N & Co? Just found an old gold ring with the same engraving and have no idea what it is

It would appear that the maker’s mark is still a bit of a mystery. The only recorded mark of the right date is similar, but not quite the same¹, and even that one is only speculatively tied to Henry Nathan & Co.
For the record, the date letter is “'y,” not “v.” But that is, in fact, 1898.
¹ In the original photo, it’s H-pellet-N, but in the only similar recorded mark, it’s H-period-N. Not quite the same thing when it comes to maker’s marks.
