Hello to my first ever post
I started collecting mainly flatware about five years or so ago hopefully learning a bit on the way by buying eBay lots that took my eye. Guided by Ian Pickford’s wonderful book I’ve now acquired samples of a number of the King’s shape variants and some Hanoverian and OE. Nothing pre 18th Century however [yet]
Particular focus on two mid 19C patterns developed with a view to building a canteen in each of Grecian and Albert patterns. No particular reason except both seemed pleasing and not so scarce as to test the patience of someone keen to get going.
When I have developed a bit more skill using the site I have one or two puzzles to sort out but for now Goodbye
