Half pint

This silver plated half pint cup are marked with crossing axes and WW beneath. On the side it has a crown wit a G and R next to it with numbers (time of king George) . This is the stamp of approval by the King that it takes half a pint. What does the other letters and numbers stands for and where in England is it from?
