Hallmark ID please

Hi - I am new today to this forum. I bought a hand carved (?) ‘silver’ tea pot from an Op shop and cannot find any trace if its hallmark on the internet. I will be grateful for any info that you can tell me - Thank you

This is neither a tea pot nor silver and the marks on the bottom are, strictly speaking, not hallmarks. The manufacturer was James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield and the material (EPBM) is electroplated Britannia metal. Britannia metal is a pewter-like base metal alloy and here it has been plated with a microscopically thin layer of silver by an electrochemical process. It is a water jug or ewer and could possibly be used for wine. It probably dates form the late 19th century.

Thank you very much for that information Phil
