Hi,
Have come across this trinket box. Its quite heavy for its size and i assume it to be silver.
There’s a stamp to the underside with a makers mark or hall mark which looks like the mast and sails of a ship or the open pages of a book? with the letter ‘Y’ shown clearly. Underneather this its stamped ‘FOREIGN’
Obviously not engligh but wondering if anyone had seen such a mark before or knows the origin of the box?
