Just interested in these forks all my childhood and wondering where they are from. Thank you. I think they are box standard silver plated, but have been passed down a few decades, and I’m interested.
You are correct in thinking that they are plated. The shield contains “EP A1”, EP for electroplated and A1 to show that they are the manufacturer’s best quality. The maker was Smith Seymour Ltd of Sheffield.
