Can any one help with these hallmarks. Think they are James II but not sure. I’m after the year and maker. Many thanks

I agree with the city and date - solidly Georgian.

But yes, the maker’s mark is proving a tougher nut to crack.

Maker’s mark is probably John Lampfert (upside down).
