Heavy Patina vague markings

This candle stick stands 14in tall and weighs 310 grams it is solid sterling. It sole mark that I can find is “sterling” which it is stamped four times on the bottom lip centers. You can see straight down the center.
I’m curious if the patina adds value or if I should clean it?
If someone could identify maker that be amazing but no other markings have been found

With only the word “sterling” to guide us I suspect that it will be impossible to identify the manufacturer. However you must clean it. What you see is not patina, it is oxidisation - the silver equivalent of rust. Use a good quality, non-abrasive silver polish and a bit of elbow grease and it will look so much better. You may even be able to distinguish some more details of the marking.
