Have you posted the right image, there are a number of different items in the photo?
It is a collection of 19th or early 20th century silver plate or nickel silver. Specifically three forks, five soup spoons, three items you could use as letter racks if anybody wrote letters worth racking anymore, a couple of round things which might be ashtrays or bon dishes, a fish serving set and a ladle.
And since none of it has any marks, not even the name of the manufacturer or his trademark, if I understand you correctly, other than using google image search or leafing through pattern books, that is all she wrote.
Have you joined that band of optimists rooting through their junk drawers in the hopes of finding the silver mother lode?
I had six calls this week from folks I had never heard of wanting to clutter up my shelves with their “priceless” family silver – that’s a direct quote from one.
I was happy to look at it and agree with him completely. Priceless it remains.
