Hi, am hoping someone can help with this, have worked out it’s Elkington & Co, but can’t figure out what everything else means. This is on the bottom of a gravy boat that is quite heavy, Is it electro plated? I presume as there are words and numbers it must be 20th century. Any help welcomed. This was the clearest picture I could get.
A - 1865.
9314 - pattern number.
ESPLANADE - pattern/model name (I think so or this may be part of the address of the hotel where the Elkington silver was used.).
