Hello . I also have this silver amethyst jewelry set. I don’t know the year …supposed rococo style. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find where AE ?? comes from. ?? Any information is helpful. Ty ! AE 800 silver

Could AE mean it was made in Egypt !!

That AE mark looks like a Repunzierung for Vienna or Cracow? For silver between 1807 and 1866. Though your object looks more like from 1930s- 1940s, so I don’t know why you have a Repunzierung? Even so, I would say your object is from Austria.

Maker - AE, silver 800, Austrian standard mark with the toucan and city letter ‘G’ for Graz. Made c. 1940-50s.
