Thank you for the suggestion. I can’t find a Towle hallmark that matches. Here’s a better photo in the light of day.
Problem solved. They are Waterhouse, Hatfield & Co. Circa 1836. Made with the process using Old Sheffield Plate, predating silver plate as we know it.
