Help identifying date, william devenport pickle fork?

Hi, I need help identifying the date for this pickle fork, think it’s william devenport but can’t work out the date letter at all!

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

The date letter is a “v” for 1895.

I’d go for Devenport, and the date would be the ‘v’ of 1895.
