Help identifying Monogram on silver teapot

This Meridan B Company quadruple silver teapot has a monogram on it that I can’t decipher. Google Lens thinks it is Chinese scrip, haha. Family last name initials include F and L, but I can’t figure this monogram out at all! I’m hoping someone can help. I’m trying to figure out if this came from the family (it’s been in the family for a couple generations for sure), or if it wasn’t long term from the family. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. peace.

It’s probably gothic “H”.

My guess would be L H.

Well just looked in all my hallmark books and also googled it (just in case). Chat GPT thinks it’s three letters and even shows examples of others.

I took these screenshots

Ah wow! That’s wonderful, all.
Libby25 - thank you for going to Chat GPT because I hadn’t found any images that matched and you’ve found some that way!! (So curious, did google bring up chinese characters for you also?)
And most importantly, my grandmother’s name before marriage was Amy Katherine LaVenture!
A K L
So the interpretation you have found makes the most sense. I still can’t really see it that way, but kind of? But this also makes the most sense that the teapot would have come from her as heirlooms from the other side of my family were on the other side of the country from us and so didn’t make it over, instead my aunt ended up with them.
This makes me very happy.

Thank you so much, and thanks to Bartholomew and silvermakersmarks for thinking about this also.

I tried to reply directly to you - not sure as I succeeded, so please see my comment below (or above) this one with your name included.

Thank you for looking into this. Libby25 below has found what I think is the correct reading of this monogram. You can see my reasoning below.

That’s absolutely amazing that the initials are indeed your Grandmothers. I am so glad I’ve managed to help. I was a bit sceptical about putting a Chat gpt answer up, but it obviously saw something we couldn’t. Gothic lettering is very difficult to make out sometimes though. I’ve had a lot of help from the guys on this site/forum with Gothic things.

Yes I did come up with Chinese letting on Google but I knew it couldn’t be correct. It’s a lovely Tea Pot and a wonderful thing to pass down to the family.

Kind regards

Liz

PS: I’ve just looked for some Gothic lettering on Google and you can see from this chart that they are Upper case on your Teapot. It makes a bit more sense now too. Still difficult though.

Wow, great find! I guess I didn’t know to look for ‘Gothic’. Crazy crazy lettering!!
We do love the teapot. It passes from my sister to me and back over time so we can both enjoy it still.
