, this is my first time on here. I’m very pleased i was able to find a space that may be able to help.
I am looking for information on a small square tray made by Wilcox Silver plate Co… I have included Pictures but in case you cannot read due to the reflection, the Markings have a full circle with writing around the outside and inside of it. The outer writing says “Quadruple Plate Meriden Conn.”. The inner writing says “Wilcox Silver Plate Co.”. In the center there appears to be two hammers overlapping forming an X. beneath the branding is a serial number reading “6438”.
Any information regarding its age, style, history and value would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone.
