Hi im a bit stumped by these marks,if anyone has any idea it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
It’s electroplate, not silver. The lettering reads EPGS which stands for electroplated German silver, German silver being an old name for the white metal alloy, nickel silver.
The manufacturer was Martin, Hall & Co of Sheffield.
