Hello everyone! I just received a very nice gift: a set of (hopefully) silver with mother of pearl handles fish knives and forks, fitted in a oak box. Could someone please help me with identifying the hallmark and eventually the year? Many thanks in advance!
It is electroplated. Probably Watson & Gillott who were cutlery makers in Sheffield, England.

Not necessarily, some makers do, some don’t. Could be base metal but it is probably electroplated.
