Help requested with unknown mark please....

This is my first posting, having come to the joys of silver collecting rather late in life…

I would appreciate any help offered to identify the marks on a silver snuff box that I have recently acquired. The box, of good quality and weight, bears a Masonic presentation inscription, in English script, dating it to 1873, but the silver marks are literally foreign to me. The word STERLING first made me think of US silver, but the rest of it makes me think Dutch or similar.

Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Many thanks for the speedy reply, and for the two links which I shall investigate as soon as I have finished this message.

Very helpful, and greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
