Help With Birmingham Date Mark Please

Hi!

I’m looking to possibly buy an item online. I cannot disclose the item because it doesn’t come up for auction for 3 days. I have zoomed in on the photo of hallmarks, which I know are Birmingham assayed and I’ve yet to research the maker. My problem is, when I looked for what year it was, the two possible contenders look the same to me. Is this just because I’m not very good at ‘Spot The Difference’ (please see screenshots) ?

Thanks in advance

Liz

Thank you for clearing that up. Yes it is a purse and the size is right too. I wish I could put photos up on here, but I think I’d be breaking copyright rules. It is engine turns with what she describes at calf leather interior (which is tanned coloured), which looks immaculate but she says is original. When I have won it, I’ll come back and put photos on here.

Also, thank you for telling me who the maker was
