Help with date - no assay mark for watch chain

Hello,

I want to date this silver watch chain. The only makers mark I can find for M&M is Manton & Mole , Birmingham but the date stamp ‘l’ (lowercase L?) is in a square box so does not look like the Birmingham 1910 “l” . Is the cartouche important? Could it be Exeter 1827, London 1906 or Sheffield 1833 or 1928? Any help appreciated! Its a single Albert watch chain.

M&M is Manton & Mole of Birmingham. Founded and run by James Woodward and Wilfred B Mole from around 1860 into the 1920s, this company was responsible for the creation of rings, cufflinks and Albert chains, as well as larger gold pieces such as vesta cases, cigar cases and sovereign cases.

As 4 me looks like Birmingham 1910.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your help - I was getting very frustrated squinting at tiny hallmarks.
