Help with hallmark ID please

Hi all. Found 2 old teaspoons in with a box of random old cutlery at my parents place. Have been trying to ID them myself, but since this area isn’t my forte, I haven’t been able to nail it down. I am not even sure if they are sterling silver or silverplate. Although the tarnish that they had on them (since removed) appears to indicate that they are made of some amount of silver.

Any amount of help would be greatly appreciated.

Had there been a little less wear you would have been able to see that the letters under the crown are “EP”. So the spoons are definitely electroplated rather than solid silver. The whole set of marks is one of a number believed to have been used by John Gilbert of Birmingham and his successor companies.

Thank you so much Phil, much appreciated.
