I recently bought my wife a small figurine. I suspect that it is plate because of the price paid, but there is no wear to the edges.
There is a small mark stamped on the base, appearing to be two anvils and a letter H:
Can anyone help identify?

never seen the mark before. But my qualified guess is plate.
(I have no reason not to think plate) but still a guess
the placing of the letters (within the frame) say plate to me.
Not a mark I have seen before - it could also be a pewter mark.
it’s far too shiny for pewter.
The figurine is a Hare, so I assume it must be European.
