Hi, can anyone help me to identify the marks on these tongs, I think they are silver, or silver plate & seem to come from the Lloyd Brazilleiro shipping company, possibly from the ‘30s or ‘40s. The tongs have ‘bird feet’ style claws. Thank you in advance for any help & apologies for the inadvertent snack ad!
They are electroplate, as evidenced by the EP in shield mark. The manufacturer is Martin, Hall & Co of Sheffield.
Ah, right … I thought that’s what that meant, though I had read it as BP.
