Help with i.d please, poss swedish fork

i hope i am in the correct forum, i bought a box of odd cutlery for my son when he moved out recently and found the following in the box! I believe from initial research it is possibly Swedish with three crowns and cap S in hexagon? and date may be 1948 (X8)? If anyone could clarify i would be grateful, but i cannot find anything for the maker, M&MO? or is one of the Ms for Malmo?. any help please.

Definitely Swedish. M&O M is probably Mattsson & Olsson of Malmö according to:

SVEZIAMAKERS13.pdf

X8 is certainly the code for 1948 but all examples of Swedish date marks which I have seen (not many to be honest) are punched in cameo form rather than incised as here.

thanks for that i found these Mattsson spoons on an old auction site, very similar but 1960s, maybe their marking improved over time!
