Help with identification of Grand Jury stamp?

Please take a closeup photo of the marks, including the “stamp” in question and the hallmark, from just one of the forks.

Still not clear enough to make out the hallmarks, though one appears to be late Georgian, and the other Victorian.

But why the Kings County Grand Jury had its own silver forks is a bit of a puzzle. The only thing I do know is that the grand jury system in the U.K. was abolished in 1933. Their silver was then probably up for grabs.

You need to track down someone who collects Judicial Arcana™.

Thanks Jeff will try

Is that King County Ireland? Why not incorporate them into your dinner service. I’d love to be tucking into my lamb chop with the same fork used by some old cove who decided if Highwayman Black Francis should stand trial and swing for his crimes. Much more romantic than selling them for scrap. And they are pretty.

Makes me think of Peter Bowles as The Irish R.M., and his encounters with Flurry Knox.
